About Us
Buckingham Chamber of Commerce
The Buckingham Chamber of Commerce was founded by seven business owners in 1991 as the "Buckingham Business Boosters." By 1995 the membership had grown to 65 and the BBB became the Buckingham Chamber of Commerce. Today, the Buckingham County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be Buckingham’s premiere business organization with more than 125 members.
The Chamber sponsors a number of annual and special events throughout the year including the annual Photo Contest, a Super Bake Sale to benefit the Downtown Dillwyn Halloween Event, and the Volunteer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards. In addition, the Chamber presents local, deserving businesses with the monthly Community Pride Award and the Business of the Month Award. To find out more about our upcoming programs and events please visit our News & Events page.
The Buckingham Chamber of Commerce holds monthly meetings at 6:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month at VFW Hall on Rt. 60, 14405 W James Anderson Hwy Buckingham, VA. Meetings include outstanding guest speakers, as well as a light meal. Please RSVP by calling 983-2372 & leaving a number of how many attending! A monthly newsletter goes out to all members with the location of the meeting along with program and meal information. Chamber membership dues are $40 per year, and are an excellent investment in a network of like-minded and involved individuals who come together to help make Buckingham County better for everyone.
