Buckingham County, VA is home to a wide variety of retail and commercial businesses. The Buckingham County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be Buckingham’s premiere business organization with over 100 members.

The chamber sponsors a number of annual and special events throughout the year including the Business of the Month Award, a monthly Community Pride Award, the Lifetime Achievement, Volunteer of the Year Awards, and the Dillwyn Trick-or-Treat. The Chamber holds monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings include outstanding guest speakers, as well as a light meal. A monthly newsletter goes out to all members with the location of the meeting, along with program and meal information. Chamber membership dues are $40.00 per year, and are an excellent investment in a network of like-minded and involved individuals who come together to help make Buckingham County better for everyone.

The BATF

The BATF (Buckingham Anti-litter Task Force) presented the awards for the County's spring cleanup challenge during the Mayfest celebration at the Buckingham Historic Village on Sat., May 17th. First place prize went to the Curdsville Community Center, second place to the Buckingham County Sheriff's Office, and third place to St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary. Thank you to all the participants throughout the County who contributed to help keep our beloved Buckingham's roadways looking their best.

The Annual Awards

The annual Awards Banquet for the Buckingham Chamber of Commerce was held this year at the Dillwyn VFD. The Chamber's coveted awards were presented to members of the community who have distinguished themselves for their service, achievement and love of Buckingham.
